Single Page Template Help
-
I am having an issue with structuring my page template how I would like it to function. Currently, I have 2 columns on the template. One that was the original template, and a second column that I added to display an Affiliate notice on all posts. My intent was to be able to add post-specific advertisements to this column during the page creation. However, I am unable to edit the second column.
I am using the Creatio theme. Which I’ve learned, seems to restrict what I can edit. I also do not have access to Widgets. Hence the creation of a second column instead of a sidebar. I also don’t want to mess up my site by changing to the default theme. I can fumble my way through this somewhat, but I’m not that fast because I have to research how to do things first.
I am needing some help with structuring the page template in such a way that the Affiliate disclaimer is global, but the sections below can be changed and edited. One thought crossed my mind and that was to make the Affiliate disclaimer a template part or a pattern.
But I could use some help and any would be appreciated.

This way if you ever have something that doesn’t’ qualify for the disclaimer you don’t have to figure out to how remove it – or as you grow there may be more than 1 type of affiliate program you’re using. The block idea will scale better. We have some more tips about using the full site editor on this page below which I think will be helpful if you haven’t seen that yet. Widgets aren’t needed with this new interface and you can fully customize each section of the site.
Using the Site Editor, you can design everything on your site — from the header right down to the footer — using blocks. This guide will show you around the editor. Access the Site Editor To visit the Site Editor, follow these steps: Start from your site’s dashboard. Locate Appearance on the left side. Click on Editor. If you do not see Editor here, your theme does not supp
