Single payment to access blog content

I am writing a book, and want to make the first few chapters visible for free, and require a small fee ($7.99) to read the rest of the book. Is that possible with the WP $8/mo plan? Also, the one-time fee for readers will allow them unique access to read each new chapter as I post it each week. Is that also possible?

These are the different options to sell items on your site:
If folks want to read the rest of the book you could easily set up a simple payments block to collect the fee and then send them the rest of the book.

The rest of your material could be password protected. So, once someone has paid for the rest of the book you can email them the password for accessing the additional posts or pages.
