single quote for functional code

  I need to be able to have posts with single quotes for functional code (not the pretty slanted quotes).

  I see another post that discusses this but I can’t find the resolution.

  how can i do this??? HELP!

  Hello there,
  Every theme here has the kind of quotes that will be used throughout the theme when we click icon 6 in Row 1 in the Visual editor declared in the coding. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-1

  If we wish we can use the single quote on on keyboard in any text we create. However we cannot edit templates or themes on wordpress.com blogs. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/

  I am not exactly clear on what you mean. I’d like you to post again and expand on what you mean so we can be sure we have answered your question.
