single spacing

I don’t like the line spacing. How can I convert to single spacing without automatic double-spacing between paragraphs?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you mean line spacing? [Actually, when you press enter in your editor, a new paragraph starts with two line spaces.] To give just a line space press : SHIFT+ENTER
-
That sounds like the best way to do it for poetry stanzas to me. Or do you mean the spacing between the stanzas even?

you’ll find less of a hassle if you learn to write poetry in the HTML mode.
when writing a poem:
click the HTML tab at the top right of tab that say HTML and enter:you text here.... blah..blah....
*****

Ok that didn’t work….
The text you would put in to the editor in HTML mode would be:
< pre>
you text here….
blah..blah….
</pre> -
…. and more on the PRE tag at:
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_pre.aspSorry for that messiness, something didn’t work properly when I posted on this forum thread.

Thanks for your help, folks! SHIFT ENTER did the trick for me.
Thanks, too, for the HTML information. That will probably be the next thing I’ll be learning; but for now, navigating around my blog keeps me busy! I’m holding on to your suggestions for when I’m more savvy.

Cheers.. I thought my answer was off-topic, since this question was in CSS-Customization.

Hi wpgaurav,
Not your fault, but mine. I’m pretty new to blogging, and simply finding my way around to the right places to do things is still new to me. Anyway, your information will come in handy eventually, I know!
This is exciting – so many things to learn!
