  my site is not connected to my domain name currently. is that because i have to pay for a premium site?

  With a plan upgrade, you can connect an existing domain to WordPress.com.

  It’s worth noting that a new annual plan purchase includes a one-year free domain registration to register a new domain. You can also use this to transfer your domain to WordPress.com, extending its expiry by a year.

  I had a premium site for years. Not sure I need the extra features so I let it lapse. And now no one can see my site. My domain name is still active with GoDaddy. What do I do from here?

  A Personal plan or higher is required to connect a domain, however your Premium plan for that site has since expired. To connect the domain again, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan.
