  my site is showing a free site so does not have any of my previous activity. I have paid for a site but can’t get ahold of customer service to help correct this.

  This usually happens when you are logged in to the wrong account. Log out from current and log in again to the account owning your paid site.

  If you can’t remember your credentials, you must use the Transaction ID as described at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery#verify-your-account-ownership
