The amount of $99 has been paid on May 5th and confirmed by Paypal. My sponsor insists that you are in part responsible for the foul up by not notifying him directly that the payment would be taken automatically. Nevertheless he has agreed to pay the $20 fine on my behalf just to get my site up and running again ASAP. Please enable him to pay the $20 forthwith

Hi there,
On 23 November your Premium Plan and domain was renewed. On 30 November you filed a chargeback against us. The domain was disabled and the Premium Plan removed from your account, as outlined in our Chargeback policy, here:
I see you have paid the Chargeback fee, but as your original payment has been disputed and is being refunded by PayPal, you need to purchase the Premium Plan again. You can do this via My Site ->Plans.
Once you have added the Premium Plan back to your site, let me know and I can restore the domain. Please do not try to add the domain back yourself. It must be manually restored, and I can only do that once you have paid for the plan.
On the initial sponsorship I was not informed this was a yearly direct debit and was unprepared as you didn’t notify me
When you bought the upgrade you accepted our terms which state that the upgrade will auto-renew.
We also sent several email reminders of the upcoming renewal, starting two months before it was due. If you did not receive those I recommend you check with your email provider why not.

There are no transactions in your account for that date. The only payments made in 2016 were on November 23, and December 6

kokkieh,
You are mixing things up, I am the sponsor who made the initial payment as prize funds. Perhaps I am responsible for not reading the terms and conditions but who does when dealing with a reputable company. As the sponsor and person who paid for the product it is I who should have received the reminders from you as it was MY bank account you took the funds from. Is that not logical? Furthermore the amount was challenged due to my not having notification. When it was finally understood what the funds were for I agreed. By this time you refunded Paypal but since then I made a direct payment from Paypal on the 5th and they assure me you have received it. Is your system having a problem coping with the refund and repayment in such quick succession? Only a suggestion I cannot sort your problems out for you. And I’m getting less happy by the day.JUST TO REITERATE: I am the sponsor not the person who owns this site, I am merely communicating through his account with his permission.

Notifications are sent only to the email address of the account that bought the upgrade. We only recognise that account as the owner of an upgrade and will only communicate with that account on any matter regarding the upgrade. If you were not posting here using the account of the upgrade owner, I’d not have been able to provide you any information whatsoever on this situation.
If the account owner failed to forward the renewal notification emails to you, that’s between you and them.

We don’t receive a notification from PayPal when a chargeback is cancelled, but I’ve asked our billing team and they were able to confirm this so we have restored the upgrades on the site and refunded the chargeback fee.
Automatic renewal for this upgrade is currently disabled. You can find more about how renewals on WordPress.com works, here:
