Site address

  Im a new user. I created multiple sites by accident, then deleted two I do not need. Now I am trying to change the address of the one I am using but I get an error saying that site has already been used. I am trying to change my site from ‘engagingourveterans’ to ‘invisiblewounds’. I think ‘invisiblewounds’ may have been the address of one I deleted. I really need the site address to be ‘invisiblewounds’.

  You cannot rename your website address. You will have to create a new site with desired name

  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

  Log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and login to it.

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.
