-
I can’t change my site address. I had the address I wanted on my old blog and I wanted to move it to this one. So i deleted that blog then I tried to switch the current blogs address to the one I want. It does say when I type the url in that the site has been deleted but when i try to change my address it says the address has been taken.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I am sorry but you ignored multple warnings that deleting a blog URL is permanent and irreversible so no that is not possible.Blog deletion is not easily accomplished. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click. If you click the URL is gone forever.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

sorry for creating a duplicate thread, my bad. But anyways since the concern of reusing a defunct blog is the issue in terms of reason the reason of its deletion. Can it be waived if you were the person to register it, delete it and now want to use it again?
