Site Address and WordPress Admin address are Different

    Hello There,

    My admin address and site address are different. I wonder if that is an issue and if they should be the same. What is the upside of having them as same and it doesn’t matter? If there are advantages, how can I change them?

    Hi there, all websites hosted on WordPress.com use their underlying yoursite.wordpress.com address in the WP Admin dashboard area. This has no impact on your custom domain on the public facing side of your site.

    Also, just noting that if you have a paid plan here, you also have access to direct support when you post to the Contact Support form at https://wordpress.com/help/contact
