Site address issue

    I hastily created a site under an accidental account, and deleted it, thinking I could use the site address again under the account I wanted to. But now when I try to create the site, I can’t use the same address, it adds in a whole bunch of random numbers. Can I get it back please??

    — Unfortunately, once you delete a site, you will no longer have access to your domain, and you would have to choose a new one.

    This is as stated from a WordPress.com Support Doc:

    never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

    You aren’t able to use it’s WordPress.com address, and that’s why when you delete a site on WordPress.com it’s permanent, and cannot be reverted.

    — You won’t be able to get it back, I’m sorry, and yes it will show you that because the domain provider for WordPress.com is trying to show you the best alternative.

    Just to add on the top of alissonhz’s message, unfortunately, you cannot use the same WordPress.com site address again.

    However, you can create a new site here, or as many as you want: https://wordpress.com/start
