Site address reserved

    I’m trying to change my site address to one that uses my full name but I keep getting the error message that the site is reserved. How is this so? I’m suspecting that it may have been reserved by me at some point. Can support check and rectify this for me?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi There,

    Could you please share the site address you wish to change for which you are getting the issue?

    As the reserved site addresses can only be registered by someone with the matching username, for example, the address abc.wordpress.com, can only be created by the WordPress.com account with the username, abc. ‘

    If you hold another account with that username then you can log in with that account and use that site name.

    My current account is the only account held with the username.

    That domain name is reserved to the account fatimaajia. If that account is yours, log out from current bunmiajia and log in again as fatimaajia. If the account fatimaajia isn’t yours, you can’t register that domain name.
