Site address/name

  Hello. I have two accounts with wordpress. I used to have a blog with my old account which was under the site address Tuluma but I deleted it. However, because of that I cant use this site name for my current blog. I am able to log into my old account but I cannot see a away of overcoming this problem (delete the account etc.). The old blog that was under the same name is deleted but I still cannot use it via this account. Please help.

  Hello Raya,
  I may disappoint you, but once a site is deleted it’s “.wordpress.com” address is reserved and cannot be registered by anyone(not even by the original owner). This is done to keep your blog/site from being impersonated.

  That’s the reason why there are multiple warnings given so that you can think twice before proceeding with the action.

  Really sorry about this.

  However,

  Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts.
