I am the owner of ‘horburyandossettfamilyhistory.net. I cannot get onto the dashboard to edit. This is a different PC I am using. Help please

Sorry you’re not able to access your account.
Are you able to login into your account with your password?
If you’re not able to login try recovering your account password with the account recovery form if you can’t remember your password: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
However, If you can login into your account but cannot access your dashboard you can try accessing your account with another browser to see if it helps.

Thanks for your quick reply!
I can access my dashboard on my current PC. The problem is this PC has become ‘problematic! and so I have bought a new one (same brand HP) with the idea of setting the new one up in case my current PC crashes! Hope that makes sense??

When trying to access your dashboard on your new PC do you see any error or warning message?
Try using an updated version or Google Chrome browser or try a different updated browser to access your WordPress.com dashboard lets see if it makes any difference.

Hi, no luck I’m afraid. Can you try it with a different password [redacted] please. I have tried it but you might have a better result at Word Press. I am nearly 84 yrs old and finding things a bit difficult nowadays XX

Hi Joan, As these are public forums, I’ve removed the sensitive information from your above post which you should never post in a public forum. Please change your password as soon as possible.
As has been said above, please first log out from this account you are posting to here in the forums. Then do the following: if you still have access to the email account that was associated with this other WordPress.com account, visit the WordPress.com log in page at https://wordpress.com/log-in
Underneath the log in details (username/password) you’ll see a link to either reset your password or send yourself a one-time log in link.
Once you are reconnected with your second WPcom account, you can update the password on that account.
