Site administration: missing tool

I miss an internal communication tool for the employees of a site. A simple editor for text and images would suffice. It could be used to:
    – manage notes for planned posts
    – provide feedback that can be read by everyone
    – collect ideas
    – send congratulations ;-)
(However, I can’t find anywhere to send the suggestion to the developers…)

  • Hi @geraldjatzek, thanks for reaching out.

I understand that you want to have a dedicated space on your site to keep your team connected, and that’s great!

Is that a feature you’ve used before with WordPress (or a plugin), or are you trying to suggest a new feature?

I look forward to sorting that out with you.

  • Hi @geraldjatzek,

I’d also suggest what @themagicrobot mentioned about using P2. It’s a simple and effective way to create a collaborate space for your team and should cover your needs and requirements.

You can check out this guide to help you get started with it: https://p2help.wordpress.com/getting-started/

Hi! What you’re describing sounds like an internal “team workspace” or simple collaboration tool. Unfortunately, most blog platforms—including free plans—don’t have a built-in internal communication system for employees or contributors.

    A few practical options:

    • Use a shared document tool like Google Docs or Notion. You can manage text, images, notes, and even give feedback that everyone can see.
    • Slack or Microsoft Teams for internal messages, ideas, and congratulations.
    • Some platforms let you create a private page or draft post as a shared workspace, but it’s usually less flexible.

If you want to suggest it to the developers of mailyour.art, look for a “Feedback” or “Contact” link on the site or in the blog’s dashboard. Sometimes there’s a support email or forum specifically for suggestions.

  • I hope this clears things up.
