Site and email Domain

    Hello,

I am on the free plan at the moment, but I would like to upgrade to the business plan as soon as I get my queries sorted. I have a coupe of issues I need help with:

1-. I have created a site which name ends in (mycompanyname).wordpress.com, I have also created one email address with the domain (mycompanyname).com.
I would like to have the website as (mycompanyname).com and not as “.wordpress.com” and ideally the same for emails so everything is uniform.

2-. When I am checking out for the upgrade it does not recognise the Post Code and/or the Country i.e. United Kingdom.

Can anyone kindly help with both queries, I need to send 15 emails to new leads before the 25th of Dec,

    Many thanks and happy Christmas!

    Humberto

    Hi there,

I’ve tagged your post for staff to take a look as to why the system doesn’t recognize the post code you’re entering.

2-. When I am checking out for the upgrade it does not recognise the Post Code and/or the Country i.e. United Kingdom.

Regarding the domain name upgrade, please see here for more information on upgrading your site’s domain name:

    Hope this helps!

  • Hi there,

I would like to have the website as (mycompanyname).com and not as “.wordpress.com” and ideally the same for emails so everything is uniform.

Once you have a paid plan you will be able to connect your existing domain to your WordPress.com site using our domain mapping upgrade:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

You’ll also be able to connect an email account to it, or purchase a G Suite email subscription directly from us:

    Add Email to Your Domain

2-. When I am checking out for the upgrade it does not recognise the Post Code and/or the Country i.e. United Kingdom.

What is the postal code you’re trying to use? Please make sure you use uppercase letters in the code, and the code should be entered with a space after the first three characters.
