site and theme disappears comepletely

    Twice in the last couple of months, my client’s site just disappeared, along with the cherry-framework that is part of it. The site goes offline. The theme and cherry-framework are both gone from the folder on the server, and also not to be found in admin>appearance>themes anymore.

    I have to reinstall both to get the site working again…needless to say this doesn’t make me look very professional.. ;(

    Both times I have done no work or changes to the site before it disappeared..

    Child/Parent theme: Cherry Framework

    Any help would be appreciated!

    These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting.

    You can get help by posting your question in the WordPress.org forums for self-hosted sites:

    Until you get this sorted, I’d suggest adding a backup theme to your client’s install, so WordPress has another theme to default to if your main theme goes missing again.
