  I cannot seem to shut off my site from public display. Could you set the site annehlinka.com so that it is no longer visible publicly?

  Sites hosted at WordPress.com can be set to private just by ticking a box. But your site is hosted over there at Bluehost and uses the .org software. Unless Bluehost offers that option you’ll need to post your question again (after registering an account) at the .org forums. A plugin may be required.
