Site being blocked from some readers….

I got a few emails stating that people are having issues to leave comments on my blog (some are asked for some type of password), but one specific email worried me, so I share it here.

my AVG virus protection won’t let me do a thing – open the post, send it back to you for ‘show and tell’ etc. Insists it is a dangerous ‘physhing’ message full of viruses!!!!! Actually had an extra letter from AVG in the box this morning saying this is only the 4th time in some seven years ] that they have had to interfere to save my computer
+++++++++++this is from a regular reader who has been following my blog for over 5 years – so I know it is true and quite frustrating for her and for me, of course.
I’ve noticed a drop in traffic lately but now I wonder if there is a more serious problem with my site. Is there a way this could be checked by wordpress?

There aren’t any viruses on your WordPress.com site at http://bewitchingkitchen.com/ so you don’t need to worry about a problem on your site itself. I also ran your site through this security scanner for good measure:

You can see there isn’t any malware or other issues reported for your site there.
It’s possible that AVG is incorrectly marking your site as having viruses. In that case, you or your visitor can report that as a false positive to AVG so they can review it:
