Site built in PHP

  I have a site that I would like to move onto WP. The developer who worked on the site gave me a bunch of PHP files. Is there a way to upload them in order to connect the site?

  No – you can’t modify any code files on WordPress.COM

  If you need to change code you need a WordPress.ORG install not hosted on WordPress.COM

  Thank you! Can you tell what a wordpress.org install is? The site I want to move is a .org site.
