Site cannot be accessed
-
I am getting the red triangle indicating my site cannot be accessed, but it can be and is being viewed currently. Disconnecting the site is not something I wish to do.
I am also getting notifications from Jet Pack that my site goes down, then back up within approximately 4 minutes. Both of these issues came about simultaneously.
What do I need to do to resolve this issue?
Thanks,

I’m assuming that the site you need help with is not the WordPressdotcom site you’ve linked to in your above post but a self-hosted site using the standalone WP software connected by jetpack.
There’s a jetpack support FAQ over here: http://jetpack.me/support/ and the support forum for jetpack issues here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register on that page.
Best wishes.

justjennifer,
if by self hosted you mean someone such as bluehost or blacksteel, yes it is a self hosted site. I’ve been through the forums in WP.org but they seem to only solve the issue if the person is wanting to actually disable the site in question, which I do not.
I will go through the link you provided for jetpack as this definitely seems to be the culprit, at least from what I’ve been reading. I wonder why it doesn’t pose a problem on my other WP sites? They are all self hosted as well.
Thanks for your input, I do appreciate it, especially at 2:00 a.m. on New Years morning.
Jim S.
