"Site Cannot Be Accessed"
-
Hello,
I saw my site had multiple updates needed yesterday, including a new version of WordPress (6.1). I did like I always do and updated everything. Everything appeared to be in working order, but my notifications said I should set up my site to my social media accounts. I have had this site for three years and had already done that. When I went to check, my Facebook and Twitter accounts were no longer connected to my site. I also noticed that WordPress’s site said I was not connected. I tried to reconnect them, and I was told there was a 500 error of some kind. I then contacted Hostgator to look into it. They checked the plugins and rebooted the server. The error was not fixed. It appears my site is no longer connecting to Jetpack or something along those lines.
To be clear, my site is still up. It looks like the only issue is my site will not connect to either Jetpack in general or my social media accounts in particular. The Jetpack debugging tool said my XML-RPC is not responding. Any help I could get to fix this would be appreciated. My site is just a personal blog where I mostly write movie reviews, but I would appreciate being able to hook it back to my Facebook and Twitter accounts, and that’s assuming there aren’t other problems as well.
Thank you in advance.

Hi there:
You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
Please contact Jetpack Support about this via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support if you have a paid plan, or https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/ if you do not and they can help you fix that connection issue.
Thanks!
