    “Avoid transferring your domain within 45 days of renewal, or you could lose that renewal year.”

    I can’t say for certain what Bluehost’s transfer policy is, so if you are worried I’d recommend contacting them. The domain has been renewed with us until next year so you want plenty of time to transfer it.

    If you decide to wait 45 days, the domain can be pointed to your Bluehost site until you are ready to transfer it.
