site changed from private to public – still reports as private

    I recently changed my wordpress.com site from private to public. It now shows as public and anyone can access it – but when I copy the url to a facebook post to promote the site the link still says – http://alisonhomestead.wordpress.com/ site is marked private by its owner. If you were invited to view this site please log in below. read more about privacy settings.

    I have force refreshed my browser and deleted cache etc. Any suggestions on how to amend this message?
