Site compromised, cannot access front or back end

    I have a website for my small consulting business and don’t check it often. It is completely compromised and I cannot access it as a viewer or get in from the back end to update. I normally update from the web address/login but getting an error. Feeling totally lost and essentially no longer have a website. Help!

    Hi there:

    You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    You should reach out to your host GoDaddy for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you find and fix this problem. They may also have a backup of your site before the time when it was compromised, or they may have a paid service where they can clean up the hack for you.
