Site content missing / domain mapping expired – need investigation

  Hi WordPress.com Support,

  I manage a client site that was previously connected to the custom domain parnapuhkekyla.ee. The paid plan (Business) expired around Aug 25, 2025.

  Since then, the site no longer appears as expected and the WordPress.com site content seems to be missing: in wp-admin the Pages list is empty (and the site looks like a default starter template). I did not delete any content and there were no other admins to my knowledge. I also hadn’t logged into this account for months.

  Details:

  • Custom domain: parnapuhkekyla.ee
  • WordPress.com site address associated with the purchase: paberitkristin.wordpress.com
  • When trying parnapuhkekyla.wordpress.com it shows “doesn’t exist” (I now understand this may not have been the WP.com subdomain).

  Could you please:

  1. Confirm whether the original site content was deleted, reset, or removed, and on what date/time.
  2. Check whether the site is in a deleted/closed state and whether there is any possibility to restore content/backups beyond the self-restore window.
  3. Confirm what happened to the domain mapping for parnapuhkekyla.ee and whether it can be reconnected after renewal.
