    I can no longer access my site or make edits after I uploaded a plugin (.zip file)

    Hello there, it sounds that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com but a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress software.

    For self-hosted WordPress questions, you’re recommended to post them at the WordPress.org forum and seek help from the experts and volunteer members there. You may need to register an account if you don’t already have one.
