Site crashes

    My WP site crashes when I try to edit a draft blog. It cannot load the pictures. The screen goes pixely and I have to reboot the computer. Have you any ideas why this might happen? I am totally stuck and cannot update my blog.

    Hello there!

    I checked out http://mirandagomperts.org/ on several browsers (including Safari), and I’m not see trouble with your site itself.

    To troubleshoot the issue you’re having…can you do three things for me?

    1. Tell me the version of your OS and browser. If you’re not sure, you can go to this link and it will tell you automatically:
      https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
    2. Log out of WordPress.com. Clear your browser’s cache, using the instructions below, and then re-login. Go to your site’s Dashboard and try to add some pictures.
    3. Go to another browser, such as Firefox and Chrome, and try the same actions that usually cause trouble.

    Generally, the trouble you described is caused by a) memory and space issues on your computer, or b) in the case of the photo upload issue, a troublesome internet connection.

    If you are able to log into WordPress.com via another computer/wifi, you’d be able to test this possibility.

    HI Thank you for your help.
    To answer your questions:
    My browser is Safari 8 on Mac OS X (Yosemite)
    Ill perform the tests you recommend.
    I think my problem might be bad internet connection. I have been onto Plusnet about this.
    I have checked the space on my computer and I have 400 gig free so that is not an issue.
    Ill try another browser and see what happens.
    Thanks for being so quick with suggestions. Lets see if I can now sort it out.

    I think you’re right, but I’d love to hear the results of your tests/conversation with your ISP!
