Site crashing when clearing spam

    Hi,

    Does anybody else have this problem?

    Whenever I clear spam the site crashes. I get the standard email from Jetpack saying they notice the site is down, however it’s only down for between 5 and 25 minutes. Nonetheless it’s rather frustrating.

    I find that I have to clear the spam (and crash the site) in the wee hours of the morning, when our traffic isn’t too heavy.

    Does anybody have some ideas?

    That site is not a hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it. We cannot help you as we do not provide support for any blogs that are not hosted by WordPress.COM.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
