Site deleted after plugin installed
-
I just installed an SEO redirect plug in so that I could redirect a page of mine to a new URL. when I got back to my WordPress site after installing, everything was gone. I am unable to access live chat, and I can’t access my plugins because my site does not work so I am unable to delete the plug in I just installed. Anyone have a way I can fix this?

Hi there!
It looks like that redirect plugin you installed is causing a redirection loop, making your site inaccessible. Good news is your site is not deleted – just hard to reach!
I’ve gone ahead and deactivated the most recently activated plugin, “All In One Redirection”, and that has brought your site back online, so you should be able to access your dashboard and live chat again now.
If you want to check out other possible SEO plugins with redirection features, a very popular option is Yoast, which offers a Free and Premium version. Their Premium subscription includes 24/7 access to their customer support, too, in case you need help with any set up of the plugin. You can check that out here!

I hope this help!

Hi Cuemarie,
thanks so much for your help! How do I know what plugins to trust? Is this the only way to have a redirect on a page to another URL?
thanks!
