Site deletion
-
I am an admin of a website. My website was deleted, and I don’t know how it happened. I need a way to reopen the domain.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

https://mariemc24.wordpress.com/ has not been deleted. The Admin login link is https://mariemc24.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If you are not successful, then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

What is the URL of the site?
Are you the owner of the site?
Did you register that site? -
I have another site that was deleted. I am the owner and administrator of thechanticleer.wordpress.com, which was deleted without notification or permission. It is the website of Jacksonville State University’s newspaper. The newspaper’s email also is set as an administrator, as well as my personal email, and the accounts are still there, but the site was deleted.

https://thechanticleer.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.

Hi there @mariemc24,
I checked the account and it appears that one of the administrators exported the content on the blog and then deleted the site. Are you in touch with the other admins? If so, I would talk with them and see if there are plans to moving the content to a different host.
Otherwise, I will need to have the owner of the site contact us to divulge any other information regarding the status of the account.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

If the owner was not anticipating the site being deleted, we would love to talk with them and see if this was an instance of it being hacked. Remember, administrators have full power over the site, even the power to delete the site.
So, feel free to have the owner contact us regarding the site, and we’ll see what we can do.
Thank you.

Hello,
I am the owner of the account. I created it and maintain the site, as well as the email account by which the site was created.
I believe the account was hacked and deleted. Is it possible for me to recover the website and receive a log of site activity for the past week to avoid this from happening again?
Thank you for your time. -
Hi Marie,
The owner username on file for the account is not the same as the one you’re writing from. Can you please contact us from the username that owns the account?
Once I get that verification, I’d be happy to assist you with that account.
Thank you!
