Site Description in google is wrong.

The site description of my home page on google search results resembles the one I had prior to transferring to wordpress.com and completely re-building my site.
I previously used a Joomla system, then WordPress.org, hosted on TMDhosting.com.
Site title is updated in google as well as description of search results of other pages in my site. And I’ve been having my wordpress.com for months so I believe google has indexed my site recently, yet with the wrong home page description.
Could it be that my old meta tags are still alive?
Can you please help?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I seen you had entered the meta description in your site and same has indexed in google . Can you explain what is the real problem ?

We bloggers here at WordPress.com cannot access metadata files and edit them. This is a multiuser blogging platform where all blogs using the same theme use the same templates and only Staff can access those files and edit as every edit they make affects all blogs using the same theme.
Keyword metatags are not required for SEO purposes and Matt Cutts has said that as far back as 2009. Watch the video here > Revisiting Keywords and Tags Search engines are focused on keywords in your content.

I’m aware that in wordpress.com we cannot access meta tags.
But it seems that there are some un-desired meta tags defined somewhere, probably a residue from my old site. I’m trying to remove these meta tags.
Can you help locate where they might still be defined and advise how to remove? -
At some point in the next 24 months or so Google will probably clear most of it’s cache of your old site – I say probably because I moved 2 years ago and from time to time Google still shows evidence that they have cached info from my old site that they are looking for –
