  I am planning to build my website on WordPress. I have a startup in Interior Designing and already have a domain where my landing page is hosted. Can I build the site before transferring the domain to WordPress? Also, with the plan I purchase can multiple logins be done at the same time for building the site? Also once which ever plan I take can I keep changing the templates time and again during the subscription period?

  Hi there,

  You can create a new WordPress.com site without transferring your domain, yes.

  All sites on WordPress.com get a free WordPress.com or .blog subdomain when the site is created, that functions just like any regular subdomain, and your site is fully online and accessible at that subdomain (provided you set it to public).

  So you can experiment and build your site at that free address, even upgrade the site while still using the free address, and only switch the domain over to us once you’re ready.

  I’m not sure what you mean here.

  On WordPress.com logins are handled on the account level, i.e. you log into your WordPress.com account using the username, mgspectre, and then you have access to all sites listed in your account.

  If you want other people to have access to the same site, you invite them via their own WordPress.com username accounts.

  This how WordPress.com is designed to work, and not dependent on any upgrades.

  You can switch themes on any WordPress.com site, on any plan, whenever you want. On the Premium and Business plan this includes our selection of Premium Themes.
