Site disappearance
-
So, I was trying to resolve the errors that were coming up in WordPress and decided to disconnect jetpack and once I did that now it says I don’t have any sites. I would just like to access back to my site.
WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Unknown
Correct account: Unknown -
Disconnecting your site from jetpack doesn’t make it disappears. You should be able to log in at yourdomain.com/wp-admin using the credentials you choose when you set up that site.

It’s no longer linked to my WordPress account and when I visit the site it says the domain might be for sale and doesn’t give the option to login to the WordPress admin page.

I’d recommend reaching out to your domain registrar first to ensure your domain is renewed properly and its settings are correct.
Then, please reach out to your host if the site isn’t working. Going forward, these forums are actually for the sites hosted here on our servers, but there is another forum for the free WordPress software. You can find that here:

2 hours ago, my site was hosted on your servers. I disconnected jetpack as it was believed to be causing errors as mentioned in my settings and then poof! Everything was gone on WordPress. Now you’re telling me there’s nothing you can do. The site is again now displaying the proper information but I’m unable to access the admin page as the password reset function isn’t sending an email when I’m requesting one to be sent as I’ve tried every password, I thought it could be. I haven’t touched anything on any of my other services except this since it occurred, and everything was working fine before I disconnected jetpack as WordPress was telling me it was causing issues and to review them or disconnect it. I didn’t realize disconnect was just another word for losing access to my site.

I think there’s some confusion here. Jetpack (and by proxy, WordPress.com) does not host your site. You were able to see and manage your site here at WordPress.com through the Jetpack plugin’s connection to your WordPress.com account.
Since you disconnected Jetpack, it also removed that connection your account here at WordPress.com, which is why you see the “no sites” message.
Your site – which is hosted elsewhere – still exists at your URL https://petsmags.com/.
To fix this, you need to log into your site’s wp-admin via your site’s login page, and reconnect Jetpack.
You can see how to reconnect Jetpack here:
If you have trouble reconnecting, contact Jetpack support.
I hope that clarifies things!

Also, if you’re having trouble logging in at your site’s login page, you would need to reach out to your hosting provider for help. Since you’re using Cloudflare, it’s obscuring your domain nameservers, so we’re not able to advise your hosting provider.
