Site Disappeared

  I was trying to update my domain name in the tech specs of WordPress and took out a couple words. When I hit save, my site disappeared and my files are no longer in my account. I am fine starting from scratch, but how can I retrieve my WordPress domain if everything vanished from my account so that I can link it to the new site design?

  This is wordpress.COM support. We cannot answer any questions posted here accurately until we have the relevant URL and have confirmed hosting of the specific site you require support for.

  Note that about 30% of those who post here daily are posting to wrong support forum and the answers to wordpress.COM and WordPress.ORG support questions are not the same.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, run different theme versions of themes with the same names, and many people get confused about the two.
