Site disappeared from WordPress.com dashboard

hi guys. My website was managed in my WordPress.com admin dashboard. I was having jetpack issues so tried to re install it, now all of a sudden the site has just completley disappeared from WordPress.com and I’ve no idea how to get it back. Would someone be able to help me, please?

I did migrate from .com to .org a while ago, but someone set all this up for me at the time.

  • Hey there!

When your site is hosted outside of WordPress.com, the connection to the WordPress.com dashboard is powered by Jetpack – so that’s why you aren’t able to see your site in the WordPress.com dashboard at the moment. Once you reconnect Jetpack on your site to your WordPress.com account, you’ll be able to see it in your Sites list once more.

To log in directly to a self-hosted site, you can add /wp-login.php to the end of your site address and log in there with your username and password. Once in, you can reconnect Jetpack to WordPress.com using these steps: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reconnect-jetpack

WordPress.com engineers can only help with WordPress.com-hosted sites, so be sure to refer to Jetpack’s plugin support resources, and contact your host for help if you’re unable to log in.

If you’d like to migrate your site back to WordPress.com to receive support from our team once more, we are currently providing hands-on migration assistance at no extra cost beyond the cost of a WordPress.com Business plan – you can submit your site address to get started on that here! https://wordpress.com/move/
