Site displays oddly on MAC but OK on PC and iPhone

  My site http://www.newmelburnian.wordpress.com displays normally on PC and iPHone but on the Mac, there is always a huge what blank area at the top of the page. I’m wondering if this is maybe the result of an upgrade? because I don’t think it has always done that (I only got Mac recently so can’t say for sure) Any advice gratefully accepted
