I am trying to make changes to my brand new website but lands on a page called “Proactive Workplace” and I do not know what to do.
I have created posts, pages and uploaded a header but nothing shows on the site. I can’t even reach the site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

re: the front page error message found on every new .wordpress.com blog
Nothing Found
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help. There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
I recommend using the step by step tutorial linked to the bottom of your Admin page at https://learn.wordpress.com
See also the “Video Quick Start” tutorial http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/
The only relevant support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also linked to on the bottom of your Admin page.

Hello,
I have published 2 posts “test” and “test2” but the site still looks the same. I have even chose I theme called “Edin” but the site that I see has the “Twenty Twelve” theme.
I have created many sites on WordPress, but never had this problem. Do you know what I mean?

OK, If you go to:
https://truerelationsdotse.wordpress.com/
You can access the blog you just set up. There’s something with the mapping of truerelations.se that isn’t right. I’m looking into it.
-
Ok, now I can see some of the changes I did.
The different pages doesnt show.Ok thank you!
-
Hello again @mbjorses –
Did you have some sort of redirect set up with your registrar?
I ask because your site was actually pointing to this WordPress.com site:
https://truerelations.wordpress.com
There’s nothing on our end pointing it there. I’m wondering if there was typo or something that is pointing the domain truerelations.se over there.
-
Hello,
It is Loopia.se that has set up the redirection to WordPress. They say that everything should be right about the pointing.
Do you think they did something wrong?
/Mia
-
Yes, I think it’s a typo. Instead of redirecting truerelations.se to your site at:
truerelationsdotse.wordpress.com
It’s actually redirecting to someone else’s site at:
truerelations.wordpress.com
If you’re using a Domain Mapping with Nameservers pointing to WordPress, you don’t need any redirection set up at the registrar.
-
Hello,
Loopia said they need details from WordPress so they can point the domain right.
So should I send them the info that they should point it to: truerelationsdotse.wordpress.com
-
You’ll need to update the name servers with your domain registrar. This article explains how:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
The name servers for WordPress.com are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Once you have updated the name servers, it may take up to 48 hours for the domain to be pointed to your WordPress.com site.
-
Thank you I sent them the changes.
I still only can see my “HOME” page and not the other pages, could it be because the pointing hasnt gone trough yet?
-
It could be. It can take up to 72 hours for everything to settle in. Usually it is much less than that, though. Look at it tomorrow and if there are problems, we’ll dive in deeper!
-
Hello!
The site still only shows the “home” page still, and not the other pages like “contact” etc.
Mia
-
Hello Mia –
It looks like the page is showing correctly – other pages are there if you go to them i.e. –
http://truerelations.se/contact/
What you need to do to show them on the front page is create the menu that will display the links to those pages:
-
Hello,
Now the domain seems to work. But I’m having trouble changing the website’s design and widgets. Every time I try to make a change, something disappears or the page does not load. There must be something wrong with my website. I’ve done a few WordPress websites before and never had these problems.
The pages I created disappear sometimes and sometimes they show (without me changing anything), the Instagram configuration disappeared. Can you look into this?
Best,
Mia -
Hello Mia –
Could I get some more details from you? I can see some changes that you’ve made, the Instagram widget is there, though you don’t seem to have any photos on that Instagram account just now.
What other changes have you made that are not working as expected?
-
Now its seems to work! Great!
To another question, my domain holder wants me to change the DNS-name servers so I can forward my new email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Do you know what I need to do?
-
Hi Mia,
I think I need some more information from you on this. The nameservers are what points your domain to your site, so changing them would mean your domain would no longer work.
If they’re saying you need to add DNS entries, you can do that by going to:
wordpress.com/my-domains
And click on “edit” next to the domain. That will allow you to get to the DNS page.
