Site Down

Our website is down. I can’t access the login panel. I’m getting this error: ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ Our site admin left us a few months ago, and I’ve been working on everything since then, but I haven’t really entered our site through the WordPress login and back end for many weeks. I checked online, and it mentioned using phpMyAdmin or ftp, but I can’t get access to our site either through ftp and I don’t have a backup locally to check the plugins. Please help!

Can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
NOTE: We can only assist with websites hosted here at WordPress.com and I don’t see any WordPress.com sites under the account you’re logged into.
If you’re using the WordPress software, but hosted elsewhere, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance:
