  Hi there,

  The ‘database error’ message usually applies to a self-hosted site running the WordPress.org flavor of WordPress. See https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info on the difference between the two versions.

  If this is the case, it would be a good idea to post your question over in the WordPress.org forums,
  https://wordpress.org/support/

  It does look like you are on a self-hosted WordPress site. Have a look at this article to see if it helps:

  Otherwise, go ahead and contact your hosting provider.

  @wellvillenc your site appears to be with GoDaddy, if that helps. They’re your best bet with a database error, otherwise check the Codex too. Cheers!
