Site Down – Login Not Working

  My friends wordpress site is down and i’ve tried helping her but we’ve not had much luck in resolving the issue.
  She has her username and password but it’s simply not working, then we’ve clicked on forgot password but the email comes through for her other wordpress site which is not currently being used.
  So then i tried wordpress.org which then said she hadn’t logged in since 2012 and would need to request a new password. She’s been trying to do this but they need proof that it’s her account.
  Unfortunately she can’t find any details that they need as an old staff member created the account and we can’t get in touch with her.

  Is there any way we can get the account back? We need help! Please!

  We do not provide support for any wordpress.ORG issues here at wordpress.COM. I’m sorry but you are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here at wordpress.COM because that site is not hosted here, our support docs do not apply to it, and we do not provide support for sites we do not host.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

  You’ve wrote exactly what the person at wordpress.org posted – i’m just going back and forth here…
  I’m sure that i need to get the answers from wordpress.org but they don’t seem to be helping.

  Is there anyway of checking your end to see if http://www.thedeliinboldmere.co.uk is with wordpress.COM? Just so i know which site to use… thanks for your patience and help on the matter.
