site down, not the host or the server

  is this the theme or the WP instal? there are three sites running on a shared server. 2 are just fine, damngoodpie.co and kara-thorndike.gallery. the primary site conversational.li is down. only get a blank white screen. i can’t even get into the admin, same blank white screen. it went down 5pm est july 4th.

  oh, i should add all three sites are a WP installation. Each has a different theme.

  Hi there,

  Not one of those three sites are hosted by WordPress.com, but are self-hosted WordPress.org installations. As those sites are not on our severs we have no access to and no control over them, and there is no way for us to help you fix them.

  You need to contact your hosting provider, which appears to be Bluehost, for help with those sites.

  I didn’t ask for a fix. I asked for a clue. Can you come up with a clue?

  PS Bluehost said its WordPress’s issue. So between the 2 of you, worst customer service.

  When Bluehost said it’s a WordPress issue, they are referring to the self-hosted WordPress.ORG software. That software is completely independent of the WordPress.COM blogging platform and we do not provide support for that software as it’s not a part of our product. In the same way that Google support does not provide support for your Apple Mail app, even if you use it to read your Gmail.
  WordPress.com and WordPress.org

  Your sites are hosted with Bluehost and using the open source WordPress software. Your sites are not hosted on WordPress.com, and are using different software than we use on WordPress.com, so we are not able to help you. I’d love to help you if I could, but I don’t have access to your servers, I don’t have access to your sites’ dashboards, and I don’t work with the self-hosted WordPress software so I don’t even know where to begin looking for an answer.

  If Bluehost says they can’t help you, you need to post in the support forums for the self-hosted WordPress.org software. It’s open source software that does not belong to any company, so there is no support department you can contact for help with that software. You can find the community forums here:

  @karathorndike There is no such thing as wordpress issue, what bluehost refers is error in Integration or config of wordpress. It could be error while installing wordpress or your theme problem or maybe plugin error. Search for your error on google , I am sure you will find many good results.
