Site down – php error?

  Hi there,

  I can’t seem to get onto our site at the moment, I’ve contacted the hosting company and they came back with the following:

  ‘This looks like an incompatibility with the new version of php. It appears to be a problem with your theme. You might check to see if there is a fix or new update for your theme. I have pasted the error message below.’

  [01-Apr-2014 18:33:27 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/veryche1/public_html/wp-content/themes/twentyfourteen/functions.php on line 525

  I am unable to get into the dashboard to look into this, can you please investigate for me?
