Site editor not working

Hi, I set up my site, but each time I try to write a post the editor simply does not load at all. Is this possibly an issue with my laptop? Am I supposed to download some kind of software? (the rest of the navigation of the site, such as the account settings and profile works)

No, you do not have to install additional software to use the editor. The problem seems unlikely to be an issue with your laptop, but a restart is a good way to begin troubleshooting. Beyond a restart, I suggest trying another browser to see if you get a different response.

Does it just load a blank white page? That would indicate your browser is not loading all the code the page needs to work.
Make sure your browser allows JavaScript, and if you’re using any ad blocker or privacy add-ons in your browser, check if disabling those help.
