site editor tab

  I edited our homepage using site editor once, and now it seems to have disappeared from my drop down menu. I cannot find appearance tab which is in Site Editor.
  Do i have to switch themes or what has happened?

  Hi there! It’s true that the Site Editor is available depending on which theme you’re using – in order for the Site Editor to be available, your site must use a theme which is compatible with the Site Editor:
  https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/full-site-editing

  The theme you have at the moment is called “Affinity” – this one is a classic theme; it is retired, and is not compatible with the Site Editor:
  https://wordpress.com/theme/affinity/

  If you prefer to use the Site Editor to make changes to your site’s layout, then you would indeed need to change to one of the themes that can use the Site Editor!
