Site error because of change in .htaccess file

  I recently was editing the files for the site for a client and I accidently saved some text on .htaccess file of the website which is why the site has a 500 internal server error. Is this something I can get fixed as soon as possible so that the site can be back up as soon as possible?

  If your website is using the self-hosted version of WordPress then you can check with your hosting provider to backup the site. Also, you can follow the below guide for troubleshooting the internal server error for the corrupted .htaccess file:-
