Site Expiration – renewal

Need to recover this domain name. We have the needed information from GoDaddy, and they directed us to try and purchase through Word Press, but now it’s listed as unavailable.
The site I need help with is thomasandtheshakes.com. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

Hey there, yeah that domain is in redemption now because it expired quite a while ago:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/The registrar charges an $80 redemption fee in addition to the regular renewal fee. I’ll send an invoice right now. Can you pay that ASAP, then respond here to let us know that’s done?
If you don’t want to pay the extra $80 fee, you can allow the domain expiration process to continue, but please know that’s a risky process. Let us know and we can remove the invoice if that’s your preference.
Either way, domain redemption is time sensitive, so let us know as soon as possible what you’d like to do.

Actually, no — I was mistaken: this is in redemption because you cancelled it about ten days ago. It still goes through a similar process, unfortunately.
I’ll send the invoice (no renewal fee required, just the redemption fee) then please update here when it’s paid. Or, if you prefer to wait, let us know.
