Site failure on ipad

  I have been using WordPress on an iPad for years. This involves the Safari browser and iOS. Last night most of WP stopped working. I can still get my blog and comments. Reader and stats give me a white page. I cleared and rebooted; no change. I can’t even get into support. Everything works on my iPhone; also iOS. Everything works on my Mac too. I tried a second iPad and it doesn’t work either. Everything works on the WordPress app including stats and reader; also iOS. WP Admin still works on iPad. What can I do to make iPads work once more?

  I don’t understand. I have a WordPress.com blog and not a WordPress.org blog. The app works fine, it’s the main site via the Safari browser that is causing me trouble.

  Support is found at wordpress.org for the app. regardless of whether or not your site is hosted by wordpress.com.

  Please provide this specific information when posting for support:
  (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

  Hi @coldhandboyack :) Sounds like you’ve got Safari on an iPad, right? We’ve just tested here with an iPad 2 and didn’t have any trouble. So I would think maybe an app is blocking something but:

  I tried a second iPad and it doesn’t work either.

  That definitely complicates things. Are you using a private window in these? You’ll need to use a regular Safari window, for what it’s worth. The private window will have a black bar, etc.
