Site Favicon

Hello. I deleted an uploaded favicon for my website because I want to use the default WordPress one. However the deleted favicon is still showing up on various browsers. How do I have this fixed?
Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff)/wp-admin/.

Hello there,
It looks like usproductsanddesigns.com/wp-admin/ is a self-hosted site, so our support is limited.
You may need to clear the browser cache to remove that favicon.
Are there any other places in theme where this could reside?
I hope this helps to point you in the right direction.

Hello. Thanks for the reply. I tried clearing the cache on all the browsers to no avail. On my macbook, the favicon is reverted to the default for all pages. However on my desktop computer, only the service page has the default favicon reverted back into, which is very specific. Do you mean there is a browser cache within wordpress itself besides the browsers used to open the website? I deleted the previously uploaded favicon from site settings. Since there isn’t a uploaded favicon, it should show the default wordpress favicon for all the pages but this does not seem to be the case. Are there any other settings in wordpress or elementor that may have to be adjusted to fix this?

Hm, I don’t see any favicon on your site. I’m afraid this is a bit outside the scope of what we can help with, as your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with iPage.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
And, you can find Elementor’s support at https://elementor.com/support/

Hi @jessemoy,
For future reference and for anyone else with the same issue on this forum, you can use favicon checkers like Favicon Checker.
Favicon Checker says that your favicons are missing and one is malformed.

Thanks!
Mark
