Site Feedback – Theme recommendation?
-
It has been a year or so for Inspiration Point. (http://ww.inspiration-point.org)
I have been using the current Twenty-Ten theme, for quite awhile. Today, I am considering updating the site’s theme and other areas, if need be.
I’d like to know what theme would be a good alternative for a my site. For now, I am the only author and likely will keep it, this way.
I love the customizable menu system offered by TwentyTen and the changeable background. I’m currently using both of these. I’m just a little tired of TwentyTen and am seeking other alternatives.
I have a couple of other questions. Should I keep the current header image or change it? As for fonts, I would prefer that they’d be a bit heavy and easy on the eyes. I do know about Typekit, that is offered through WordPress.com. What are some good fonts that would go with my site?
As for the widgets, what improvements should I make? What can be added or dropped? The one RSS feed (Verse of the day) is a keeper and it doesn’t detract from the main site.
Plus, I’d like to better enable visitors to subscribe to my blog, so they can get updates when I post a new story. It would save me, the headache of a mass mailing list. Any ideas? I do have a button but it seems rarely used or perhaps invisible to the visitor.
